While working at The Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism running a photo lab and providing basic photographic instruction to the future journalists I would often take breaks and walk along Riverside Drive.

Every afternoon, this couple would walk north, then south, along the drive in perfect lockstep.  I was told, but never interrupted their walks to confirm, that he was a violinist with the Metropolitan opera.
